At the pull of a curtain, our Conservatory transforms into the perfect setting for an intimate private dinner. Picture this: You’ve gathered twenty of your dearest friends and family for a celebratory feast, the table is overflowing with great food and endless stories; the evening is yours to savor—without the usual time pressures of Central London.

For gatherings of nine to twenty guests, we offer a set menu showcasing our chef’s highlights, served feasting-style for the table to share—a true celebration.

As golden hour settles and the city unwinds, gather at Mortimer House Kitchen for Aperitivo Hour – a chance to linger a little longer with our Negroni selection. Each one is barrel-aged for two months mellowing into a deeper, silkier sip with a rounded warmth that’s made for the early evenings. Settle in at the bar and savour a slow relaxed evening with friends.

Through the winter months, order two Negronis and enjoy a complimentary pizzetta, fresh from the oven.

Had an amazing experience at this beautiful bar and hotel in Central London! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect — stylish interiors, a great atmosphere, and excellent food and drinks.

A special thank you to Satty who provided outstanding service throughout our visit. He was professional, friendly, and very attentive, making sure we were comfortable and well looked after at all times. His warm and welcoming attitude truly made our experience even more enjoyable.

Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great vibes, quality service, and a memorable time in London. Will definitely be coming back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had a wonderful lunch at Mortimer House Kitchen yesterday. The food was wonderful (I think I'm addicted to the focaccia bread). The service was just right too, there when needed but not intrusive, and there's a lovely, lively atmosphere of people enjoying great food and good company.
Thanks to all the staff for looking after us so well!

Mortimer House Kitchen is a beautiful corner spot with décor and style that feel straight out of New York. It feels a bit like a hotel restaurant, though there’s actually no hotel rooms—just a private members’ club upstairs.

Being in Fitzrovia, the place was laid-back, the music barely audible, and my friend and I could easily converse without raising our voices.

The staff were particularly personable and efficient, and the food was really good. The menu felt authentically Italian, with some truly delicious options. I had a fried pizza with ham and stracciatella, the ragù rigatoni, and an excellent tiramisu (the Italian style, with no alcohol) with caramelised pecans—it was a highlight, right up there with everything else my friend and I tried. Absolutely loved it.

I had an excellent lunch at Mortimer House, everything delicious, neat flavours. Our waitress was kind and professional. There were also special of the day with white truffle and porcini.

It has a wonderful atmosphere. As a Mediterranean, I especially loved the carpets in the interior design.

You can watch the chefs cooking in the open kitchen, which adds a nice touch to the experience. The quality of the ingredients is excellent. I had a fantastic seafood pasta and a fresh salad. Considering London standards, it has received surprisingly low amount of ratings. It definitely deserves more. appreciation.
